Ludlow School Committee Names Two Superintendent Finalists, Sets March 19 Interviews

Ludlow School Committee names two superintendent finalists and schedules public interviews for March 19. Chair Lang announced Sharon Cornoyer of Storrs, Connecticut, and Tim McCormick of North Brookfield, Massachusetts, as the finalists following a search led by committee members Dr. Stratton and Mr.

Manfredi. Interviews will begin at 5:30 p.m. on the Ludlow High School auditorium stage, preceded by candidate visits to district schools. The committee also received literacy data showing elementary students at or above DIBELS benchmark rising from 52.7 percent to 64.2 percent year over year, with the highest-risk student count dropping from 97 to 45.

State-funded one-on-one tutoring through On Your Mark launched the day of the meeting at East Street Elementary, serving 22 students four days per week. The committee voted 5-0 to enter executive session on collective bargaining strategy.
