Ludlow sets early ballot processing sessions before Nov. 3 election
Ludlow announced it will open and deposit early voted ballots at Town Hall from Oct. 26 through Oct. 31 ahead of the Nov. 3 general election, with results not released until polls close.
The Town of Ludlow announced Oct. 19 that it will begin advance processing of early voted ballots ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.
In accordance with the VOTES Act, Chapter 92 of the Acts of 2022, the town will open and deposit early voting ballots at Town Hall, 488 Chapin Street, on six consecutive days: Monday, Oct. 26 through Saturday, Oct. 31. Each session will begin at 8:30 a.m. on the second floor of Town Hall.
Any vote-by-mail ballots received after advance processing ends will be processed at the polls on election day, per state requirements.
The town said no results will be determined or announced until after polls close at 8 p.m. on Nov. 3. At that time, results from the advance processed ballots for all six precincts will be combined with election day results and posted in a public place at the Town Clerk's Office, second floor, 488 Chapin St.
