Select Board · Meeting of February 17, 2026

Ludlow Select Board hires firefighter, advances federal grant strategy. The board unanimously appointed Antonio Goncalves, 21, as a Firefighter, contingent on his completion of paramedic certification within one year; Chief Pease called him the highest-ranked of three candidates. The board also cleared staff to finalize a FY2026 Community Development Block Grant application targeting six housing rehabilitation units, design work on Rogers Avenue and Chmura Street, and a new domestic violence prevention program.

The town has $150,000 to $200,000 in remaining FY22/23 grant funds available for infrastructure improvements on Robert Street, and a formal public hearing is set for March 17, 2026.
