Select Board appoints Treasurer/Collector and Senior Center coordinator.
Select Board · Meeting of January 6, 2026
Ludlow Select Board unanimously appoints two department heads in meet-and-greet interviews. Michelle Hill, a 20-year local-government veteran from Southwick and Southbridge, fills the Treasurer/Collector role, approved on a motion by William Rosenblum. Sheila Rubin was appointed Senior Center Provider Outreach Coordinator, recommended by library and Senior Center staff after interviews.
The board voted unanimously to approve two injury-related benefit charges under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 41, Section 111F: one for a firefighter/paramedic injured December 8, 2025, and one for a police officer injured December 22, 2025. The board tabled a vote on FY27 employee reclassifications and new positions until February, citing a $1.7 million budget deficit, and asked the Town Administrator to research the process and feasibility of petitioning the state for additional liquor licenses.
