LUDLOW — The Ludlow Safety Committee unanimously filed five Planning Board notices and decisions on May 14, 2026, including approvals for a home office electrical contracting permit at 103 Jerad Drive, a residential development at 17-21 Lower Whitney Street, a subdivision at 1252 East Street, a home office painting permit at 643 Poole Street, and a revised accessory dwelling unit site plan at 648 Chapin Street with comments due May 26. Chairperson Brad Tierney oversaw four members present; five others were absent. The committee tabled four resident requests, a crosswalk at Napoleon Avenue and Fuller Street, a no-engine-braking restriction on Center Street, and an Urban SKD speed and traffic calming solution, deferring them for further study.
David Krok was assigned to contact a Ludlow High School student about placing a police or emergency button at the Riverwalk.
