Ludlow Recreation Commission clears way for summer camp by authorizing hiring for pool and camp staff. The two-member board voted unanimously to allow Human Resources to post three camp positions (counselors, co-directors, and nurse) and three pool positions (lifeguards, head lifeguards, and assistant pool manager) for the upcoming summer season. Sean McBride reported that the Board of Selectmen confirmed the camp can move forward pending only a fire evacuation plan and building inspection permit.
The commission also approved prior meeting minutes and bills dated March 5, 2026, both unanimously, removing all obstacles to the camp's summer opening.
