Planning Board hosts community forum on housing grants and zoning updates.
Planning Board · Meeting of January 29, 2026
Ludlow Planning Board held a community development forum focused on federal housing grants and local zoning reform. Representatives from the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission presented the Town's Community Development Block Grant program, which currently funds Robert Street infrastructure improvements and a housing rehabilitation program, and sought public input on FY26 grant priorities through online survey. The Commission also outlined a comprehensive Zoning Bylaw recodification project drawing on the 2024 Comprehensive Zoning Review, with amendments scheduled for Planning Board delivery in summer 2026.
Town Administrator Marc Strange and Select Board member Manny Silva attended alongside planning members Raymond Phoenix, Kathleen Houle, William Ellison, and Haley Rivers; a CDBG application discussion is set for the Select Board meeting on February 17.
