Planning Board approves solar project, subdivision, and seeks $10,000 for housing consultant.

Ludlow Planning Board approves two major projects and advances housing plan implementation. The Board unanimously approved a 2.0 megawatt solar photovoltaic project at 155 West Street and a 38-lot residential subdivision named Tanglewood Estates at 1252 East Street, pending resolution of a fence-height discrepancy through the Building Department or Zoning Board of Appeals. Separately, the Board advanced its March motion to request $10,000 in consulting funds from Karen Sunnarborg for implementation of the town's Housing Production Plan, which addresses housing affordability and state compliance.
The Board also discussed modifications to the ADU bylaw required by the Attorney General's Office and initiated formation of a Community Preservation Act Committee, targeting adoption in October.
