LUDLOW — Planning Board approves special permit and site plan projects, continues ADU hearing. The Board voted unanimously to grant a home-occupation special permit to electrical contractor Alex Wurszt at 103 Jerad Drive and to advance a revised six-unit Smart Growth townhouse development by Jose Alves at 17-21 Lower Whitney Street with waivers for signage, traffic study, and dimensional requirements. The public hearing for Michael Sotiropoulos's proposed 500-square-foot accessory dwelling unit at 648 Chapin Street was continued to May 28, 2026, at 7:15 p.m., pending submission of a revised site plan showing vehicular or pedestrian access to the unit; Chairman Raymond Phoenix emphasized the need for departmental expert review of access design before Board action.
