Golf Commission advances irrigation system upgrade for October Town Meeting

LUDLOW — Westover Golf Commission plans irrigation system upgrade for October voter approval. The commission approved May meeting minutes and June bills by 3-0 votes, then focused on planning an irrigation project presentation to Town Meeting in October 2026, working with engineering consultant Tighe & Bond on cost analysis and materials. Chairman Sean McBride presided with commissioners James Tyburski, Shawn Lebeau, Gary Will, and Edward Garbacik present.

The commission also discussed raising cart and green fees to offset rising fuel costs, and confirmed future meetings will maintain a regular two-meeting schedule at the Westover Clubhouse.
