Ludlow Finance Committee unanimously backs $91.6 million FY27 budget and capital requests. The committee voted to recommend approval of 14 town meeting warrant articles, including unpaid bills of $6,496.96, a special warrant of $366,400, and state highway funding of $1,093,781, while making no recommendation on 18 others. Town Administrator Marc Strange told the committee that a newly hired Treasurer/Collector will improve monthly tracking of uncollected revenue, which has been irregular; the IT budget is currently overexpended at more than 100 percent, and facilities costs at the Department of Public Works and Boys and Girls Club are also over budget.
