Ludlow Finance Committee reviews budget overages and FY27 outlook. Finance Director Cheryl Allen reported the Treasurer/Collector line has overshot its $25,000 budget by $195,000, with an anticipated inter-fund transfer to cover the gap. Town Administrator Marc Strange outlined FY27 growth at 3 percent for schools, including a new recreation director and paramedic/firefighter position, with negotiations ongoing on union contracts and no employee health deductible increases planned.
The committee unanimously approved prior meeting minutes and will finalize its appropriation recommendations ahead of town meeting.
