Council on Aging approves December minutes, reviews strategic plan status

LUDLOW — The Ludlow Council on Aging unanimously approved December minutes and reviewed strategic plan progress on January 21. Chairperson D. Peacey led discussion of Outreach Coordinator Sheila Rubin's January 5 start date and early accomplishments, including home visits and protective services referrals.
The board heard that a Board of Health grant will subsidize foot care services through June at $30 per resident and $60 per nonresident. K. Green presented the three-section strategic plan covering One-Year 2025, Three-Year Target 2028, and Future Plan Considerations across Staffing, Communication, and Programming categories, with the board agreeing to review progress in six months.
The Center will pilot a made-to-order breakfast program in February and is planning a five-year anniversary open house.
