Celebrate Ludlow Committee addresses staffing gaps, plans 250th anniversary events

LUDLOW — Celebrate Ludlow Committee approves merger with depleted Memorial Day Parade Committee to manage town events. Linda Collette chairs; the Parade Committee has lost four members to resignations, leaving five active volunteers. The Memorial Day Parade is set for May 25, 2026, with float registration opening in early March and a May 1 deadline.
The committee is planning a float contest with a $250 prize for a nonprofit and will continue recruitment for Falling Into Fun (October 3) and the Town Tag Sale (tentatively June). Inactive committee members will be removed if they do not respond to a confirmation letter.
