The board elected Lauren Yelinek as Chair and Antonio Tavares as Secretary in unanimous votes on April 6. Health Director Paulina Matusik reported the launch of a four-intern program including a Master of Public Health candidate focusing on data analysis and vaccine season preparation, a bachelor's-level intern working on tick prevention and town bylaw updates through June, a high school intern creating Health Fair promotional materials, and a Department of Public Health intern addressing food code violations and social services outreach.
Octavia Anderson, Animal Control Officer, was unanimously nominated as Animal Inspector.
