Board of Health · Meeting of February 9, 2026

Ludlow Board of Health approves January minutes and reports 249 permit renewals. Health Director Paulina Matusik informed Chair Kelly Lamas, Secretary Antonio Tavares, and Member Lauren Yelinek that renewals covered food establishments, body art facilities, hotels, pools, schools, and other categories, with two new restaurants awaiting preoperational inspection. Matusik recommended reducing the Septic Repair permit component fee from $170.00, citing costs above surrounding towns.

The board learned that a new Title V Contractor began February 3, and that a part-time health nurse position candidate, Ms. Hertz, awaits Select Board approval on February 17.
